AICTE - Sarswati Scholarship Scheme for

Girl Students - BBA, BCA, BMS degree

Sarswati Scholarship is a scheme of AICTE aimed at providing assistance for advancement of Girls Pursuing technical education. This is an attempt to give young women the opportunity to further her education and prepare for a successful future by “empowering Women through Technical Education”.

Eligibility Criteria :

  • The girl candidate should be admitted to First year of Degree level course.
  • Maximum two girl child per family are eligible.
  • Family income from all sources should not be more than Rs. 8 lakh per annum during the current financial year. A valid income certificate issued by State/ UT Government need to be enclosed.

Amount of Scholarship :

Rs. 25,000/- per annum for every year of study i.e., maximum 3 years towards payment of college fee, purchase of computer, stationeries, books, equipment, software etc

1Create APAAR Id.
2 Visit the official website of the Sarswati Scholarship Portal.
3 To begin with the registration process, click on the “Register here”.
4 Fill in all required details and register to create a new profile.
5 After successful registration, an e-mail will be received along with Username and password in your particular e-mail id.
6 Fill in the scholarship application form with all relevant details.
7 Upload all necessary documents in support of your application.
8 Finally, submit the application form.

AICTE Pragati Scholarship Scheme for

Girl Student

Pragati Scholarship is a scheme of AICTE aimed at providing assistance for Advancement of Girls participation in Technical Education.

Eligibility Criteria :

  • Applicants must be admitted to the 1st year or 2nd year (through lateral entry only) of technical diploma/degree programme.
  • Two girls per family are eligible to apply for the scholarship.
  • The annual family income of the applicant must not be more than Rs. 8 lakh during the preceding financial year.

Amount of scholarship :

Rs. 50,000/- per annum for every year of study.

Saksham Scholarship is a scheme of AICTE aimed at providing encouragement and support to specially abled children to pursue Technical Education.

Eligibility Criteria :

  • The scholarship is only open for students with disability.
  • The level of disability should not be less than 40%.
  • The annual income of the family should be less than INR 8 Lakh.
  • The students must have taken admission in the first year of technical diploma/degree course.

Amount of scholarship :

Rs. 50,000/- per annum for every year of study.

AICTE Swanath Scholarship Scheme for Orphans/Covid

Swanath Scholarship is a scheme of AICTE aimed at providing encouragement and support to the Students of degree, diploma courses who are Orphans or have witnessed the demise of their parents.

Eligibility Criteria :

  • Orphan candidates or whose either or both parents passed away due to COVID-19.
  • Wards of Armed Forces and Central Paramilitary Forces who became martyrs in action.
  • Family income from all sources should be less than or equal to Rs. 8 lakh per annum.
  • The candidate must be currently enrolled in the AICTE-approved colleges and courses.

Amount of scholarship :

Rs. 50,000/- per annum for every year of study.

‘Post-Matric Scholarship’ Scheme for Student Belonging To SC, ST & BC Category

Jharkhand State Government providing financial support to the Students belong to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) or Backward Class (BC).

Eligibility Criteria :

  • The student must be a domicile or permanent resident of Jharkhand state.
  • They must be studying at institutions recognised by the Government of Jharkhand.
  • The annual income of the family should not exceed INR 2.5 Lakh.

Amount of scholarship :

For Diploma : Rs. 30,000/- per annum.
For BCA : Rs. 40,000/- per annum.
(As per the New Post-Matric Scholarship guidelines 2022)

  • Student who have scored not less than 50% marks.
  • Annual Income of parents/guardians should not exceed Rs. 2 lakhs.

Valmiki Scholarship Scheme

The following is the eligibility criteria for the applicants to the Valmiki Scholarship Scheme

Eligibility Criteria for the Applicant :

  • Must not be more than 40 years oldas on the date of submitting fresh application under the Scheme
  • Must have passed 10thfrom any recognized school located in Jharkhand, if applying for pursuing Diploma Level Courses
  • Must have passed 10th and 12th/Diploma from any recognized School or College located in Jharkhand, if applying for pursuing Undergraduate or Higher-Level Courses.
  • Must be a Local Resident of Jharkhand as per valid Local Residence Certificate issued by Competent Authority.
  • If applying under the Orphan Category, then the applicant must be an Orphan.
  • If the applicant is applying under the Persons with Benchmark Disability Category, the applicant must be a Person with Benchmark Disability.

Eligibility Criteria for the Institution :

  • Must be established as a recognized Higher Education Institution in Jharkhand.
  • Must be ranked within Top 200 in Overall Category or Top 100 in Individual Category of latest NIRF Rankings.
  • Must have valid NAAC Accreditation of Grade A or above.
  • Must be notified as Institutes of National Importance.
  • Must be notified as Institutions of Eminence.
  • Must be a National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT).
  • Must be a National Institutes of Design (NID).
  • Must be an Institute of Hotel Management, Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition.
